ICU RN Job in Mesa, Arizona

Banner Desert Medical Center in Mesa, Arizona is seeking a registered nurse for its ICU. You'll work three 12-hour night shifts per week on an 89-day travel assignment beginning August 24, 2026. Weekly pay is $2,434.

What you'll do:

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing standards
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments covering physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural needs, and discharge planning
• Review patient history, diagnostics, and laboratory data; report abnormal findings to physicians and caregivers
• Formulate and implement individualized care plans based on patient-specific needs and medical directives
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to establish realistic, measurable patient goals
• Delegate and supervise activities of licensed nurses and other healthcare personnel
• Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching; revise the plan of care as needed
• Maintain timely, accurate, legible documentation of all assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation activities
• Provide care based on best available evidence and participate in shared leadership and quality improvement initiatives

What you need:

• Current, valid RN license in Arizona
• Stroke experience required
• NIHSS certification required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum one year of acute care hospital experience, with specialty area experience within the past 12 months
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification preferred
