Job Details:

• Day shift hours from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Block scheduling type
• 13 weekend shifts per contract
• Float required between Jefferson Hospital for Neuroscience, Jefferson Methodist Hospital, and Honickman Center
• Float among services at the main OR
• Scrub and circulate required - scrub experience is a hard requirement
• 3 years of experience required
• Level I Trauma experience required
• Experience required in cardiac, liver transplant, craniotomies, and spinal cases
• Experience with orthopedic fractures is a plus
• Previous charge experience required
• Craniotomy and ortho fracture experience preferred
• Charting system: Epic
• Patient age groups include adolescents, infants, adults, and geriatrics
• Patient ratio of 1:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• 32 operating rooms available
• 40 orientation hours
• No on-call requirement
• No holiday requirement
• Scrubs are provided
• First-time travelers accepted with appropriate experience
• Required certifications: BLS, Trauma Level 1 course and certificate
• Trauma Level II certification preferred
• Skills required: craniotomy, general OR, ortho/spine, scrub neurology surgery, scrub orthopedic surgeries, spinal fusion, total joint replacement, and Level I trauma
