SICU RN Job in Wichita, KS

Opportunity:

RN - OR ICU/SICU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Assigned to the Surgical ICU (SICU) unit located on the 2nd floor
• Patient ratios of 1:2, with 1:1 ratio for high acuity patients including post-CABG patients (estimated ratios, not guaranteed)
• Work with advanced equipment including balloon pumps, CRRT, hypothermia equipment, and ECMO
• Utilize Meditech EMR system
• Care for trauma patients, post-CABG, post-TAVR, and general post-surgical ICU patients
• Perform procedures including chest tube management, central line care, and medication drips
• Minimum 1 year of current hospital ICU experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH, and TNCC
• Prior experience traveling to large trauma facilities preferred
