Cath Lab Technologist Job in Charleston, SC

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment at MUSC Health - Shawn Jenkins Children's Hospital in Charleston, SC. This role offers the opportunity to work in a specialized pediatric and adult cardiology environment with competitive compensation and a defined contract period.

Assignment Details

• Schedule: 5x8 days, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Duration: 91 days
• Start date: September 8, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,730
• On-call required: 8–10 shifts per month including weekend coverage
• Guaranteed hours with facility call-off allowance of 1 shift per 2 weeks

Role Responsibilities

You will perform pediatric and adult catheterization lab procedures in a 2-room environment, including transplant cases, right and left heart biopsies, balloon angioplasty, stent placement, and valve procedures. Your primary patient population will include congenital heart patients. Experience with interventional radiology, particularly pediatric IR, is preferred. Level I Trauma Pediatric Cath Lab experience and EP (electrophysiology) experience are valued assets.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year cath lab experience (first-time travelers accepted)
• Current PALS, BLS, and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
• CCI with RCIS/RCES preferred, or ARRT (R) with SCRQSA (R)
• Radiation badge required (provided by agency)

• Charting system: EPIC
• Parking: One-time payment of $20 for parking pass; applicable for nights and weekends only
• All requests for time off must be submitted at time of contract submission and are subject to facility approval based on operational needs
