PCU - Progressive Care Unit

Opportunity:

RN - PCU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend schedule required
• Required to work Thanksgiving and one additional winter holiday
• High acuity fast-paced surgical step down unit
• Nurse to patient ratio of 4:1, sometimes 3:1
• Epic experience preferred
• Required certification: BLS
• Must be willing to manage chest tubes, arterial lines, PICC lines and other central lines
• Must be willing to manage ostomies, trachs, NG tubes, wound vacs, and other drains
• Must be willing to administer drips and IV infusions including Heparin, Insulin, Nitro, Amiodarone, and Cardizem
• Candidates with an ICU background are well-suited for this role
