OR Registered Nurse Job in Martinsburg, WV

WVU Berkeley Medical Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Operating Room in Martinsburg, WV. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning September 7, 2026, offering a competitive weekly pay of $2,511.

Schedule & Expectations

• Work three 12-hour day shifts per week (7:00 AM to 7:30 PM), Friday through Sunday
• One weeknight on-call rotation (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
• One 24-hour on-call shift per month (7:00 AM to 7:00 PM)
• Call response time is 30 minutes; may be required to stay if more than 30 minutes away
• Holiday call rotation as needed
• Float to outpatient surgery as needed
• No self-scheduling for travelers; block scheduling may be allowed if unit needs permit

Role Details

• Comfortable working as the only RN overnight with two techs
• Must pass arms in and out for Robotics (Da Vinci)
• Float coverage for general, ENT, eyes, ortho, robotics, neuro spine, trauma, and vascular procedures
• All surgical cases covered except CVOR and L&D C-sections
• Epic EMR experience required
• Scrubbing experience is a plus but not required

Required Qualifications

• 2–3 years of OR specialty experience
• 2–3 previous travel assignments
• Ortho experience required
• Active RN license
• ACLS (AHA) and BLS (AHA) certifications required
• PALS preferred
• BSN not required
