OR Circulator RN Job in Charleston, WV

WVU Thomas Health - Saint Francis Hospital is seeking an experienced OR Circulator RN for a 91-day travel position beginning August 26, 2026. This is a Monday-through-Friday day shift role offering $2,764.80 per week.

Schedule & Expectations

• Shift hours: 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM (8-hour shifts)
• Potential extended hours until cases are completed
• Minimum one weekday call shift per week with 30-minute response time
• Up to every other weekend call with 30-minute response time
• Holiday call rotation with 30-minute response time

Role Responsibilities

You will work as an OR circulator and scrub nurse, managing both roles as needed. You must have a minimum of 2 years of experience as an OR Tech or RN, with specialized expertise in ophthalmology. You will independently perform and support cataract and cornea procedures, and manage a variety of surgical cases.

Common Surgical Cases

• Cataract and corneal procedures
• Scleral buckle and vitrectomy
• Corneal transplants
• Minor general surgery
• Minor spine stabilization and spinal cord stimulator procedures
• ENT and dental procedures
• Ambulatory surgery procedures

You may be required to float to other surgical departments as needed.

Requirements

• Current RN license
• BLS certification (AHA)
• Minimum 2 years OR experience as Tech or RN
• Demonstrated expertise in ophthalmology
• Ability to scrub and circulate independently

What We Provide

Scrubs are provided. You will use the EPIC charting system. A BSN is not required for this position.
