RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• 12-hour shifts with every other weekend requirement
• Includes inpatient Oncology patients
• Patient population includes adults and geriatrics with diagnoses ranging from adult medical, comfort care, inpatient oncology, and radiation
• Patient ratio of 1:5-6 on days and 1:6 on nights; will never exceed ratio of 1:5-6
• Unit consists of 32 beds with a daily census of 30
• Float within scope to meet facility needs as needed
• No on-call required
• Guaranteed hours: call off 12 hours per 2 weeks
• 2 years of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Must be able to administer chemotherapy
• Charting system: Paragon
• Scrub color: Royal blue
• Parking is free
• Interdisciplinary support includes Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, and Unit Secretary
• TN or compact license required
