Med Surg RN Job in Cookeville, TN

You'll work as a Registered Nurse on a 32-bed Medical Surgical unit at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning July 27, 2026, with 3x12 night shifts at $2,099.52 weekly.

Your Role

You'll care for adult and geriatric patients with medical, comfort care, and inpatient oncology diagnoses, including those receiving radiation therapy. Your patient ratio on nights is 1:6, with a daytime ratio of 1:5-6—never exceeding 1:5-6. The unit maintains a daily census of 30 patients. You'll float within scope to meet facility needs as required, with no on-call obligations.

Requirements

• RN license: Tennessee or compact license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• 2 years of nursing experience (first-time travelers are welcome)
