Physical Therapist Job in Bakersfield, CA

You will work as a Physical Therapist in a home health care setting serving the Bakersfield, CA area. This position offers day shifts Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with an assignment duration of 91 days beginning June 8, 2026.

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services directly in patients' homes
• Manage patient care plans and document progress in the Cerner charting system
• Travel to approximately 25% of appointments within the service area

Scheduling and Pay

• Work 5 days per week on day shift
• Weekly pay: $2,452.80
• The facility reserves the right to cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment period, or 3 shifts for assignments shorter than 13 weeks

Requirements

• Valid California Physical Therapy license
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)
• Experience with Cerner electronic health record system
• Ability to travel to patient homes
