OR - Operating Room

Opportunity:

RN - OR

Job Details:

• Work in the Main Operating Room on the first floor
• 1:1 patient ratio in the operating room
• Call shifts required: 4-5 per 4 weeks with weekend rotation and no set schedule
• Floating policy requires assisting in other areas if ORs are shut down, internal float first
• Must have orthopedic experience including ortho major joint procedures
• Required skills: General, Urology (open and cysto), minor vascular; major vascular a plus
• All surgical cases performed except open heart, transplants, and eye procedures
• Equipment used: Stryker Ortho Systems, Stryker Lap Towers, Da Vinci Xi Robots x2, MAKO Navigation (Stryker), OMNI Navigation
• Documentation system: MEDITECH
• Required certifications: BLS
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Must demonstrate punctuality, dedication, teamwork, and a positive attitude
• Must follow all AORN guidelines
• Unit staffing includes RNs, surgical techs, support staff, and board runners
