ICU RN Job in Casper, Wyoming

Wyoming Medical Center Central in Casper is seeking a registered nurse for the ICU. You will work 3 shifts of 12 hours on nights, with a contract duration of 89 days beginning September 21, 2026. Weekly pay is $2,446.20.

In this role, you will provide direct patient care in an intensive care setting. Your responsibilities include:

• Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care according to organizational policies and professional standards
• Conducting comprehensive patient assessments covering physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and cultural needs, including discharge planning
• Reviewing patient histories, diagnostics, and laboratory data; reporting abnormal results to physicians and appropriate caregivers
• Formulating individualized care plans with input from the patient, family, and health care team
• Implementing care plans through direct care, coordination, delegation, and supervision of team activities
• Evaluating patient and family response to care and teaching, modifying plans as needed
• Documenting all assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation activities accurately and timely in patient records
• Participating in shared leadership, education, role development, and orientation activities for staff, patients, students, and families
• Providing supervision and direction to licensed and non-licensed personnel in delivering quality care

Requirements: You must hold a current, valid RN license in Wyoming. A minimum of one year of experience in an acute care hospital setting is required, with specialty experience within the past 12 months. Required certifications include WY DFS, BLS, and ACLS. A bachelor's degree and professional certification are preferred.
