ICU RN Job in Casper, Wyoming

Wyoming Medical Center Central in Casper is seeking a registered nurse for the Intensive Care Unit. You will work three 12-hour night shifts per week for an 89-week assignment starting June 22, 2026, earning $2,446.20 weekly.

Your responsibilities include:

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document comprehensive nursing care for ICU patients
• Conduct full patient assessments covering physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and cultural needs
• Review patient history, diagnostic results, and laboratory data to inform care decisions
• Develop individualized care plans with attention to discharge planning
• Deliver direct patient care, coordinate resources, delegate appropriately, and supervise licensed and non-licensed personnel
• Evaluate patient and family responses to care and teaching
• Document all care activities in accordance with facility policy
• Participate in unit shared leadership initiatives and quality improvement activities
• Maintain standard precautions and demonstrate effective communication at all times

Required qualifications:

• Current valid RN license
• BLS certification
• Minimum one year of acute care hospital experience
• Recent acute care experience within the past 12 months in the ICU specialty area
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and use proper body mechanics
• Annual validation of clinical performance competencies
