ICU RN Job in Casper, WY

Wyoming Medical Center Central in Casper, WY is hiring an RN for the ICU. You'll work 3x12 shifts on days, with an 89-day contract starting October 26, 2026. Weekly pay is $2,406.

About the Role

You will assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care of ICU patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing practice standards. Your responsibilities include:

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments covering physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural needs, and discharge planning
• Review patient history, diagnostics, and laboratory data, reporting abnormal results to physicians and appropriate caregivers
• Formulate individualized care plans with input from patients, families, and the health team, including discharge planning
• Implement care plans through direct patient care, coordination, delegation, and supervision of health care team activities
• Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching, revising plans as needed
• Document all assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation activities accurately and timely in patient records
• Participate in shared leadership, education, role development, and orientation of personnel, patients, students, and families
• Provide supervision and direction to licensed and non-licensed personnel in delivering quality patient care

Requirements

• Current, valid RN license required
• Minimum one year of experience in an acute care hospital setting, with specialty area experience within the past 12 months
• Required certifications: WY DFS, BLS, and ACLS
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification preferred
