ICU RN Job in Casper, WY

Wyoming Medical Center Central in Casper is seeking an RN for their Intensive Care Unit. This is a 3x12 night shift position with a duration of 89 days, starting November 9, 2026. You will earn $2,406 per week.

Your Role

You will provide direct patient care in the ICU, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing standards. Your responsibilities include:

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments covering physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural, and discharge planning needs
• Review patient history, diagnostics, and laboratory data, reporting abnormal results to physicians and appropriate caregivers
• Formulate individualized plans of care including discharge planning with input from patients, families, and the health care team
• Implement care plans through direct patient care, coordination, delegation, and supervision of health care team activities
• Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching, revising care plans as needed
• Document all assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation activities accurately and in a timely manner
• Participate in shared leadership, education, role development, and orientation of personnel, patients, students, and families
• Provide supervision and direction to licensed and non-licensed personnel in the delivery of quality patient care

Requirements

• Current, valid RN license required
• Minimum one year of experience in an acute care hospital setting, with experience in ICU within the past 12 months
• Required certifications: WY DFS, BLS, and ACLS
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification preferred
