Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• 13-week contract working three 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• Patient ratio of 1:5
• 8 weekend shifts required per 6-week schedule period, combination of Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
• Guaranteed 3 shifts per 13 weeks; cancelled shifts must be the regular assigned shift length
• No on-call required
• Regular floating may be required between departments, units, and facilities as needed
• Holiday shifts and Charge RN assignments as needed per unit
• Must be comfortable working with post-cath patients
• Patients treated include adults and geriatrics with diagnoses such as gallbladder surgery, appendix surgery, hysterectomy, chest pain rule out, nausea/vomiting rule out, sepsis, and heart failure
• Required certifications: BLS, NIHSS
• Required skills: Telemetry, telemetry on-unit monitoring, and titrating cardiac drips
• Minimum 1 year of Med Surg experience required
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Scrub color: Navy
• Parking is free
• Both Kansas and Missouri licenses or compact license required at time of submission
• Home address must be at least 75 miles from the facility
