ED - Emergency Room

RN - ER

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend requirement
• Every other holiday requirement
• No on-call or standby requirement
• Self-scheduling available for days and nights
• Patient ratio of 1 to 4
• Manage 80-90 patients per day in a 24-bed emergency department with 3 trauma bays
• Treat common diagnoses including trauma, stroke, sepsis, CHF, and cardiac conditions
• Perform or assist with triage on an occasional basis
• Care for ER holds intermixed within the department
• Must be able to read and interpret ECG rhythms independently (no monitor techs on unit)
• Document using EPIC and Paragon charting systems
• Float to units qualified for as needed
• Navy scrubs required
• 2 years of emergency department experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, TNCC, and ENPC or PALS
