ED Registered Nurse Job in Wichita Falls, TX

United Regional is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department in Wichita Falls, TX. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning November 16, 2026, offering $2,582 per week.

Schedule & Compensation

• 4x12 hour night shifts
• 36/48 hour alternating or straight 48-hour schedule options
• 84 hours guaranteed biweekly
• Weekend coverage required
• Block scheduling type

Facility Overview

United Regional is a Level II Trauma Center with a high-volume ED. The department maintains a daily census of 190 patients across 62 rooms, serving patient populations from neonates through adults. You will also provide support to the Clinical Decision Unit (CDU), which operates under ED provider oversight with stable, independent patients managed at ratios up to 5:1.

Requirements & Experience

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience; 3 years preferred
• High-volume or trauma facility experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Level II Trauma Center experience preferred
• Patient ratio experience of 4 patients required
• Epic charting system experience required
