ED RN Job in Independence, MO

Join Centerpoint Medical Center MO as a Registered Nurse in our Emergency Department. This is a 91-day travel assignment running 4x12 day shifts (10a–10p), starting September 28, 2026. You'll earn $2,360 weekly with a guaranteed 48-hour minimum option.

You will work in a 40+ bed Emergency Department with a 4:1 patient ratio, managing 3 rooms and 1 hall bed during high-volume periods. Your responsibilities include:

• IV starts and phlebotomy
• Cardiac monitoring and interpretation
• Patient care using electronic medical record systems (Meditech EMR)
• Operation of specialized equipment including cardiac monitors, EKGs, ultrasound, Belmont Rapid Infuser, IO Drills, and Lifepak

Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, ENPC, and CPI.

We are seeking nurses with high-pressure experience and previous medical background who demonstrate strong adaptability and teamwork. You should be comfortable maintaining a positive, outgoing demeanor in a fast-paced environment. Day and night shifts are available.

Dress Code: Gray scrub top with black or gray scrub bottoms. Appropriate colored T-shirts are permitted under a nursing scrub jacket or hospital-approved jacket.
