ED RN Job in Kansas City, MO

You will work as an RN in a 38-bed Emergency Department at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri. This is a travel position with a 91-day duration, starting September 28, 2026.

Shift and Schedule

• 4x12 night shifts (12 p.m. to 12 a.m.)
• Guaranteed 48 hours per week is available as an option
• Minimum 4 weekend shifts and 2 Fridays per 4-week schedule
• Required to work 2 major holidays and 2 minor holidays

Department Details

• Three main areas: Rapid, Main, and POD 3 (psych safe area)
• Approximately 7 RNs per night shift, 5 mid-shift RNs, and 7 day-shift RNs
• Float to Brookside ED as needed

Clinical Responsibilities

• Manage patients using ventilators, BiPAP, EKG monitoring, arterial lines, Belmont devices, and chest tubes
• Perform port placement and chest tube management
• Utilize Meditech electronic medical record system
• Demonstrate strong prioritization, time management, and de-escalation skills in a fast-paced environment

Requirements and Preferences

• Current RN license
• CPI certification preferred
• Navy blue scrubs required

Pay and Details

Weekly pay is $2,360. This is a 91-day travel assignment offering the flexibility and experience of working in a busy, accredited emergency department.
