Emergency Department RN Job in Independence, MO

Join Centerpoint Medical Center as an Emergency Department RN on a 91-day travel assignment. You'll work 4x12 night shifts, earning $2,360 weekly, with a guaranteed 48 hours per week available.

This 40+ bed Emergency Department operates with a 4:1 patient ratio during high-volume periods, typically managing 3 rooms and 1 hall bed per nurse. You'll perform essential clinical skills including IV starts, phlebotomy, cardiac monitoring, and EKG interpretation. The department is equipped with modern technology: cardiac monitors, ultrasound units, Belmont Rapid Infusers, IO Drills, Lifepak devices, and the Meditech EMR system.

Required Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
• ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute)
