ED - Emergency Room

RN - ED ER

Job Details:

• Work in a 38-bed emergency department with three main areas: Rapid, Main, and POD 3 (psych safe area)
• Day shift staffed with 7 RNs and night shift staffed with 7 RNs, with 5 mid-shift RNs
• Must work a minimum of 4 weekend shifts and 2 Fridays per 4-week schedule
• Must work 2 major holidays and 2 minor holidays per schedule
• May be required to float to Brookside ED
• Dress code: Navy blue scrubs required
• Work with equipment including ventilators, BiPAP, EKG, arterial lines, Belmont, and chest tubes
• EMR system: Meditech
• Perform procedures including port placement and chest tube management
• Must demonstrate strong prioritization, time management, and de-escalation skills
• CPI certification preferred
• Ideal candidate is patient-focused, detail-oriented, a team player, and has a positive and coachable attitude
