ED - Emergency Room

RN - ED ER

Job Details:

• Work in a 38-bed emergency department with three main areas: Rapid, Main, and POD 3 (psych safe area)
• Day and night shift RN positions available with 7 RNs per day/night shift and 5 mid-shift RNs
• Day shift: 7 RNs | Night shift: 7 RNs
• Must meet weekend and holiday requirements: 4 weekend shifts and 2 Fridays minimum per 4-week schedule, plus 2 major holidays and 2 minor holidays
• Scrub color requirement: Navy Blue
• Work with equipment including ventilators, BiPAP, EKG, arterial lines, Belmont, and chest tubes
• EMR system: Meditech
• Perform procedures including port placement and chest tube management
• Floating to Brookside ED may be required
• Required skills: prioritizing, time management, de-escalation, and CPI (preferred)
