ED - Emergency Room

Job Details:

• Night shift position working 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Varied shift schedule
• 13-week contract duration
• No on-call required
• No floating required
• 48-hour weekly guarantees are not approved
• Blocked scheduling may be requested
• 12-bed Emergency Department unit
• Patient ratio of 1:4-6
• Scrub color: any solid color
• EMR system: EDIS/Medihost
• Minimum 2+ years of Emergency Room RN experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP
• Provide care to Emergency Room patients utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy and procedures
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in anticipating and planning for safe patient care delivery in the Emergency Department
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
• Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff
• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care
