ED RN Job in St Johnsbury, VT

You'll provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department at Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital, a rural critical access facility with nine beds that serves over 15,000 patients annually.

Role Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to emergency patients
• Evaluate patient outcomes and adjust nursing care processes to support optimal care delivery
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members on medical and nursing management
• Consult with other specialties as clinically indicated
• Serve as a proactive, responsive team member in a fast-moving environment

Schedule and Duration

You'll work 3 shifts of 12 hours each on nights. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning October 14, 2026. Travelers start on Wednesdays; if you're on a 48-hour contract, you'll be guaranteed 36 hours during your orientation week due to the midweek start.

Qualifications

• Current Vermont or compact multi-state RN license
• Minimum 3 years of Emergency Department RN experience
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• TNCC certification preferred
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR or ability to quickly learn the system

Compensation

You'll earn $2,188 per week.
