Emergency Department RN Job in Springfield, VT

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at Springfield Hospital in Springfield, Vermont. This is a temporary position with a 91-day duration, starting September 28, 2026.

Position Details

• Specialty: Emergency Department (ED)
• Shift: 3x12 nights per week
• Weekly pay: $2,354
• Schedule: Every other weekend required, with holiday coverage as needed

Requirements

• Vermont RN license or Compact license
• Minimum 2 years of current ED experience in a hospital setting
• 3 months minimum travel healthcare experience preferred
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Emergency Department Skills Checklist current within 1 year
• Required certifications in hand at time of application: TNCC, BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA)
• 1 supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment
• Own vehicle required

Important Scheduling Information

• Block scheduling will not be approved
• 48-hour guarantee is not available
• Every other weekend schedule is required with holidays as needed
• Must work two of the following holiday blocks if scheduled: Thanksgiving Day/Friday after and weekend after; Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and weekend after; New Year's Eve through New Year's Day and weekend after
• All requested time off (RTO) must be noted and verified at time of upload—maximum 5 days accepted
• RTO requests after upload or during interview will not be approved
• All scheduling requests must be made at time of submission
