SLP Job in Sweetwater, TX

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is hiring a Speech and Language Pathologist for a long-term care facility in Sweetwater, TX. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning September 14, 2026.

Role Overview

You will deliver comprehensive speech and language pathology services to residents in a long-term care setting. Your responsibilities include developing individualized treatment plans, implementing clinical strategies, and ensuring all care aligns with local, state, and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop treatment plans to improve swallowing, cognitive, and communication abilities
• Implement strategies to decrease aspiration risks in patients
• Create communication treatment plans using evidence-based techniques to help residents better understand and be understood
• Lead and direct the delivery of speech language pathology services
• Ensure services comply with established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Provide appropriate care and services to residents

Schedule & Compensation

You will work 5 days per week on day shift (8-hour shifts). Weekly pay is $2,505.60. There are no on-call responsibilities and no weekend requirements.

Requirements

• Active Texas state license
• Minimum 2 years of SLP experience
