SLP Job in Sweetwater, TX

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) for a long-term care position in Sweetwater, TX. This is a 91-day assignment starting October 5, 2026, working day shifts Monday through Friday.

About the Role

You will provide direct speech and language pathology services to residents in a long-term care setting. Your responsibilities include developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, leading the delivery of speech language pathology services, and ensuring all care meets local, state, and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop treatment plans to improve swallowing, cognitive, and communication abilities
• Implement strategies to decrease aspiration risks in patients
• Create communication treatment plans using evidence-based techniques to help individuals better understand and be understood by others
• Lead, guide, and direct the delivery of speech language pathology and audiology services
• Ensure services are provided in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations and established policies and procedures
• Provide appropriate care and services to residents

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of SLP experience
• Active Texas state license required

What We Offer

You will work a 5x8 day schedule with no on-call responsibilities and no weekend requirements. Weekly pay is $2,521. This assignment is based at Avir Health Group, LLC – AVIR at Sweetwater, a long-term care facility.
