SLP Job in Newton, TX

You'll provide speech-language pathology services in a long-term care setting at Shady Acres Senior Living Properties in Newton, Texas. This is a day-shift position with no on-call or weekend requirements.

What You'll Do

• Develop and implement treatment plans to improve swallowing, cognitive, and communication abilities for residents
• Use evidence-based techniques to decrease aspiration risks and support safe feeding and hydration
• Create individualized communication treatment plans to help residents improve their understanding and expression
• Lead and direct the delivery of speech-language pathology services within the facility
• Ensure all services comply with local, state, and federal regulations, standards, and facility policies

Position Details

• Schedule: 5 days per week, 8-hour days (40 hours weekly)
• Duration: 91 days
• Start date: October 26, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,536
• No on-call responsibilities
• No weekend work

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (Therapy)
• Minimum 2 years of SLP experience
• Valid Texas state license or active compact license
