Job Details:

• Night shift position in the Emergency Room
• Every other weekend required
• Every other holiday required
• Patient ratios of 1:4-6; behavioral health locked units ratio 1:6
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Valid Maryland or Compact nursing license required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS
• Required skills: Management of dysrhythmias, central line care/management, IV vasopressors, BiPAP/CPAP management, care of ventilated patients, isolation precautions/PPE, and triage
• Charting system experience required
• Care for patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Facility sees approximately 120 patient visits per day across 54 beds
• Candidates will float within the hospital within scope
• Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and social services
