Med Surg RN Job in Rome, NY

You'll join Rome Health as a Registered Nurse on the Medical/Surgical Step-Down unit, caring for adult and geriatric patients in an acute care setting. This is a full-time travel position running 89 days, beginning August 24, 2026.

Schedule and Compensation

• Work three 12-hour night shifts per week, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekly pay: $2,321.84

Role Details

You'll provide direct patient care on a Med Surg Step-Down unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 6:1. Your experience in step-down or telemetry settings will be essential as you manage the clinical needs of recovering and transitioning patients. You'll use the Paragon and Pyxis EMR systems to document care and manage medications.

Requirements

• Current RN license
• 1–2 years of step-down or telemetry experience
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• NIHSS certification
