CVICU RN Job in Mesa, AZ

You will provide direct nursing care to patients in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit at Banner Heart Hospital in Mesa, Arizona. This is a 89-day travel assignment beginning September 28, 2026, working three 12-hour day shifts per week at $2,434 weekly.

Your responsibilities include:

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care according to organizational policies and professional standards
• Review patient history, diagnostics, and laboratory data, reporting abnormal results to physicians and care team members
• Develop and execute individualized care plans based on patient needs, assessment findings, and medical direction
• Coordinate, delegate, and supervise healthcare team activities to implement patient care plans
• Monitor patient and family response to care and teaching, adjusting plans as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Contribute to unit and facility shared leadership initiatives and nursing quality improvement efforts
• Precept and mentor staff members when appropriate

Required qualifications:

• Current, valid RN license in Arizona
• Minimum one year experience in an acute care hospital setting
• Experience in specialty area within the past 12 months
• BLS certification

Preferred qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• Professional certification
