CT Technologist Job in Austell, GA

Cobb Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to join the imaging department on a travel assignment. You'll work days Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with flexibility to meet departmental needs and occasional on-call responsibilities.

Your responsibilities include:

• Perform CT scans and imaging procedures with independent judgment and initiative
• Set up equipment and position patients for imaging procedures
• Verify clinician orders and obtain complete clinical history
• Administer contrast media according to established protocols
• Review CT and radiographic images to ensure clinical acceptability
• Respond to emergency situations and maintain life support equipment
• Perform venipuncture and power injection operations
• Demonstrate sterile technique and provide pre- and post-procedural care
• Transport and position patients, assisting with procedure table transfers
• Apply shielding, supportive, and immobilization devices as needed
• Operate all workstations associated with the CT department

Required qualifications:

• ARRT-R (Radiography) certification
• ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography) certification
• BLS certification
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Radiology
• Less than 1 year of CT experience preferred

You'll work independently and collaboratively under pressure, maintaining excellent communication skills and a commitment to customer service. This assignment runs for 91 days, beginning June 1, 2026. Weekly pay is $2,368.
