Job Details:

• Day shift position from 9:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Must be flexible with work hours to meet department needs
• Perform a wide variety of CT and radiographic technical procedures requiring independent judgment
• Verify proper clinician orders and obtain complete clinical history prior to procedures
• Administer contrast media following established procedures and monitor patients for contraindications
• Demonstrate proficiency with loading and operating power injector
• Maintain competency with venipuncture
• Review CT/radiographic images for clinically acceptable results
• Ensure all studies are sent to PACS immediately after completion and complete all studies in RIS before PACS
• Respond to emergency situations and maintain life support equipment
• Transport, position, and assist patients on and off the procedure table
• Apply shielding, supportive, and immobilization devices as needed
• Maintain Joint Commission standards and all applicable regulatory agency standards
• Take call when necessary
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Radiology required; CT experience preferred
• Accredited Program in Radiologic Technology required
• Required certifications: ARRT Radiography (ARRT-R), ARRT Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT), and BLS (AHA, ARC, or BLS Instructor)
• Must be competent in all aspects of CT including patient positioning, exposure factors, and radiation protection
• Must be able to perform effectively in a fast-paced, stressful work environment
