CT Technologist Job in Smyrna, GA

You'll work as a CT Technologist at Vinings Health Park in Smyrna, Georgia, performing computed tomography scans and supporting safe, age-appropriate patient care in a fast-paced radiology environment.

Schedule & Duration

• Monday through Thursday, 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Day shift with call coverage as needed
• 91-day travel assignment starting May 26, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,368

Core Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans and assist with patient care protocols
• Verify clinician orders and obtain complete clinical histories
• Administer contrast media following established procedures
• Review CT and radiographic images for clinical acceptability
• Respond to emergency situations and maintain life support equipment
• Demonstrate competency with venipuncture and power injection operation
• Maintain equipment calibration and perform quality control tests
• Transport and position patients on procedure tables
• Apply shielding, supportive, and immobilization devices
• Complete all studies in RIS and send to PACS immediately
• Maintain individual productivity rates consistent with co-workers

Required Qualifications

• Allied Health Professional credential
• ARRT-R (Radiography) certification
• ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography) certification
• BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year radiology experience
• Less than 1 year CT experience preferred
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently under pressure
• Flexibility with hours to meet departmental needs
