Pharmacist Travel Job in Richmond, VA

You will work as a Pharmacist in the hospital pharmacy department at CJW Medical Center Chippenham Campus, a 463-bed facility in Richmond, VA. This is a travel assignment with a 168-day duration, beginning November 9, 2026.

Shift and Schedule: You will work nights, 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM, on a 4x10 schedule. There is no floating policy, so you will remain in the pharmacy department on the main building's 4th floor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform IV verification, medication verification, and IV compounding
• Manage complex patients including trauma, burn, critical care, pediatrics, cardiac surgery, and ECMO cases
• Apply advanced dosing protocols for Vancomycin AUC, Aminoglycosides, and renal-adjusted medications
• Manage anticoagulation therapy including Warfarin, Enoxaparin, Heparin, and DOACs
• Support electrolyte protocols and medication safety

Required Experience and Skills:

• Minimum 2 years of hospital pharmacy experience
• Proficiency with Dose Edge IV (required)
• Proficiency with Pyxis (required)
• Experience with Meditech Magic, Vigilanz, and C2 Safe systems
• Virginia State Pharmacist license

Compensation: $2,810 weekly. Preferred dress code is silver or purple scrubs.
