Pharmacist Inpatient Job in Fishersville, VA

Augusta Health is seeking a Pharmacist for inpatient hospital pharmacy services in Fishersville, VA. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting October 19, 2026, with weekly pay of $3,641.

Shift & Schedule

• 5x8 rotating day and evening shifts
• Day shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Evening shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
• Option for consistent 8-hour evening shift if preferred
• Weekend coverage required approximately every 3–4 weeks
• No on-call requirement

Role & Responsibilities

You will manage inpatient pharmacy workflows in a community hospital setting, serving approximately 185 adult and geriatric patients daily. Your duties include order verification, IV room oversight, and automated dispensing system management.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3–5 years of hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• Community hospital experience required
• Meditech charting system experience required
• Clinical expertise in antibiotics, anticoagulation therapy, cardiac dosing, chemotherapy, compounding, drug shortage management, high-alert medications, hyperalimentation, IV piggyback, IV push medications, TPN mixing, sterile technique, therapeutic medication monitoring, pharmacokinetic dosing, and warfarin dosing

Required Credentials

• PharmD degree
• RPh licensure
• Virginia state licensure
