Med Surg RN Job in Thornton, CO

Join HCA HealthONE Mountain Ridge as a travel RN on our Med Surg Ortho unit. This is a 91-day assignment starting August 31, 2026, working three 12-hour night shifts per week from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

About the Role

You will care for post-operative surgical patients on a 29-bed unit with overflow capacity to 39 beds. Your patient ratio is 5:1, and you will work alongside a charge nurse, 8 RNs, and an ACT (available 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM). You will use remote telemetry equipment and the Meditech EMR system to manage patient care, including cardiac drips such as amiodarone, diltiazem, and heparin.

Requirements

• Current RN license
• Minimum 1 year of Med Surg RN acute care experience
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Prior Meditech experience preferred

Compensation and Schedule

You will earn $1,749 per week on a travel assignment basis. This is a nights-focused role ideal for RNs seeking flexible, short-term acute care work.
