Med Surg RN Job in Laramie, WY

Ivinson Memorial Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for Med Surg with oncology focus in Laramie, WY. This is a day shift position running 91 days, starting November 23, 2026, at $2,964 weekly.

In this role, you'll provide direct patient care within the Medical Oncology team, collaborating closely with the Medical Oncologist. Your responsibilities include:

• Performing comprehensive assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care within your scope of practice
• Educating patients according to their individual needs and medical circumstances
• Transcribing, utilizing, and implementing physician orders and established protocols
• Coordinating the healthcare team and delegating appropriate tasks to ancillary personnel
• Ensuring all care, treatment, and services comply with Federal, State, and Local Standards, Rules, Regulations, and Guidelines

Requirements:

• Current, valid RN license from the State of Wyoming in good standing with the Board of Nursing
• Current, valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current, valid Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Annual completion of required continuing education units (CEUs)
• Ability to work effectively with minimal immediate supervision
• Demonstrated excellent customer service, communication, organization, and time management skills
• Ethical and legal accountability for the position

Preferred qualifications: Previous experience in a hospital clinic and prior oncology experience are preferred.
