Med Surg RN Job in Torrington, WY

You'll work as a registered nurse on the medical-surgical unit at Torrington Community Hospital, located at 2000 Campbell Dr. This is a full-time travel nursing assignment with a 12-week duration, starting October 19, 2026.

Schedule and Compensation

• 3 nights per week, 12-hour shifts
• Weekly pay: $2,295

Your Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care for medical-surgical patients
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments covering physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and cultural needs, as well as discharge planning
• Formulate individualized care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary team members
• Provide direct patient care, coordination, delegation, and supervision of healthcare team activities
• Document all aspects of patient care in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements
• Delegate appropriately to other licensed nurses and personnel
• Evaluate patient progress and revise care plans based on patient response

Physical Demands

You must be able to stand, walk, bend, and squat frequently, reach overhead, and lift up to 75 pounds regularly.

Required Qualifications

• Current valid RN license in Wyoming or compact licensure
• BLS certification
• Minimum one year of acute care hospital experience within the past 12 months

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing
• Professional nursing certification
• Ability to maintain clinical performance competencies through annual validations
