Med Surg RN Job in Wheatland, WY

You'll join Platte County Memorial Hospital as a Med Surg RN, providing direct patient care on a 3x12 night shift schedule. This 89-day travel assignment offers you the opportunity to practice acute care nursing in a focused medical-surgical environment.

What you'll do:

• Assess patients and perform comprehensive physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and cultural evaluations
• Review patient histories, diagnostics, and laboratory data; report abnormal results to physicians and caregivers
• Formulate and implement individualized plans of care based on patient-specific needs and medical orders
• Provide direct patient care, coordinate activities, and supervise health care team members as assigned
• Perform telemetry strip interpretation and complete ECG exams as required
• Document all assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in the patient record accurately and timely
• Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching, revising the plan of care as needed
• May supervise departmental staff and workflow

What you need:

• Current Wyoming RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum one year of acute care hospital experience required, with Med Surg specialty experience within the past 12 months
• Wyoming DFS clearance required

What you'll earn:

$2,271 weekly pay. Assignment begins November 16, 2026.
