Telemetry RN Job in Lewisville, TX

Medical City Lewisville is seeking a Telemetry RN to join a 19-bed Surgical Telemetry Unit on a day shift, three 12-hour shifts per week. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting October 26, 2026, with weekly compensation of $1,791.

Role Overview

You will provide direct patient care on a unit staffed with a charge nurse, 3–4 nurses (RN/LVN mix), and 1–2 PCTs per shift. Your patient ratio will be 1:6. Day-to-day responsibilities include patient ambulation, wound care, cardiac monitoring, and documentation using the Meditech EMR system. You will operate Baxter IV pumps and Welch Allyn vital signs machines. Depending on operational needs, you may float to Ortho Trauma and Inpatient Rehab departments.

What We're Looking For

• Current RN license
• BLS certification (required)
• Minimum 2 years of medical-surgical nursing experience
• Charge nurse experience (preferred)
• Preceptor experience (preferred)
• Collaborative, team-oriented approach to patient care

Facility Information

Medical City Lewisville (LEW) is a full-service acute-care hospital. The Surgical Telemetry Unit is a 19-bed department with established protocols and a stable team. You will be expected to wear royal blue scrubs.
