Pharmacist Job in Richmond, VA

Join CJW Medical Center Chippenham Campus as a hospital pharmacist. This 168-week travel position offers you the opportunity to work in a 463-bed facility with a diverse patient population including trauma, burn, critical care, pediatrics, cardiac surgery, and ECMO cases.

Schedule and Compensation

• Shift: 5x8 days, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Weekly pay: $2,338
• Start date: November 9, 2026

Core Responsibilities

• Perform IV verification, medication verification, and IV compounding
• Manage complex medication regimens across multiple patient populations
• Document using Meditech Magic, Vigilanz, Dose Edge, Pyxis, and C2 Safe systems
• Apply advanced clinical skills in vancomycin AUC dosing, aminoglycoside dosing, renal dosing, warfarin management, enoxaparin, electrolyte protocols, heparin, and DOAC management

Requirements

• Allied Health Professional degree (Pharmacist)
• Virginia State Pharmacist license
• Minimum 2 years hospital pharmacy experience
• Proficiency with Dose Edge IV, Pyxis, Meditech, and Vigilanz
