PCU RN Job in Mesa, Arizona

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit at Banner Baywood Medical Center, located at 6644 E Baywood Ave in Mesa, Arizona. This is a 3x12 day shift position with an 89-day duration, starting January 4, 2027. You will earn $2,559 weekly.

Your responsibilities include:

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care of patients according to organizational policies and professional nursing standards
• Review patient history and physical with patient and family, ensuring completion within appropriate timeframes
• Review diagnostics and laboratory data, reporting abnormal results to physicians and appropriate caregivers
• Formulate individualized plans of care, including discharge planning, using assessment data and input from patient, family, and health team
• Implement care through direct patient care, coordination, delegation, and supervision of health care team activities
• Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching, revising the plan as needed
• Document assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation accurately and timely in patient records
• Provide care based on best available evidence and participate in shared leadership activities
• Precept and mentor staff to support professional growth and development

You may be asked to float between PCU units and may have on-call requirements. A current, valid RN license in Arizona and BLS certification are required. You must have a minimum of one year of acute care hospital experience, with work in an acute care setting within the past 12 months in the RN specialty area. A bachelor's degree is preferred, as is professional certification.
