PCU RN Job in Tucson, AZ

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking an RN for a 89-day travel assignment in Tucson, AZ, starting September 28, 2026. You'll work three 12-hour day shifts per week at an estimated weekly pay of $2,582.10.

About the Role

You'll provide nursing care in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) as a member of a Resource Float Pool team. Your responsibilities include:

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing practice standards
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural, and discharge planning needs
• Review patient history, diagnostics, and laboratory data and report abnormal results to physicians and appropriate caregivers
• Formulate and implement individualized plans of care in collaboration with multidisciplinary team members
• Delegate and supervise activities of licensed and non-licensed healthcare team members
• Document assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation accurately and in a timely manner in the patient record

Facility Information

You'll float throughout two campuses to support where needed. The main campus has approximately 16 Adult Health units, including expanded spaces in the Emergency Department and PACU for Adult Health patients awaiting inpatient beds. The secondary campus is approximately a 10-minute drive away and includes 4–5 Adult Health units ranging from Observation to PCU, depending on season.

Physical Requirements

You must be able to stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, and stretch frequently and may be required to lift up to 75 pounds. Standard precautions apply due to potential exposure to blood and bodily fluids.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in an acute care hospital setting required
• Experience in the specialty area within the past 12 months
• Previous travel healthcare experience required
• Current, valid RN license
• BLS certification required
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification preferred
