Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work three 12-hour shifts per week with every other weekend requirement
• Overtime available
• Float policy is PRN
• Patient ratio of 1:7 with aim for 1:6 on a 48-bed unit
• Unit staffing includes 9 nurses, 5 PCTs, and 1 unit secretary per shift
• Work with post-operative and med-surg patients in a fast-paced environment
• Perform wound care, I/O catheterizations, and trach care
• Utilize equipment including EKG, bladder scanner, and ultra-light for IV insertion
• Document using Meditech system
• Use iPhone for communication and participate in frequent huddles
• Must demonstrate great communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Required dress code: Navy blue or white scrubs
• Required certifications: BLS
