Job Details:

• Work 3x12-hour mid-shifts from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM
• Work holidays as needed
• Patient ratio of 1:5
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call required
• No floating between units or sister facilities required
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Self-scheduling
• Scrub color: Royal Blue
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Travel experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• South Carolina RN license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
• Epic experience required; used for all charting
• Community hospital experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS
• Care for patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Provide care in a 14-room free-standing emergency department including a resuscitation room
• Perform and support skills including triage, IV placement, phlebotomy, 12-lead EKG/ECG, blood product administration, procedural sedation monitoring, management of dysrhythmias, BiPAP/CPAP management, central line care, chest tube management, and splinting
• Manage patients presenting with conditions including trauma, neurological emergencies, behavioral health, respiratory illness, cardiac events, and more
• Interdisciplinary support available including phlebotomy and radiology
