ED Registered Nurse Job in Orangeburg, SC

MUSC Health Orangeburg is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. You will work three 12-hour night shifts per week from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with every other weekend required. There are no on-call obligations.

About the Role

The Emergency Department handles approximately 130 visits per day across 37 rooms. You will care for patients of all ages—neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics—presenting with all types of conditions. Patient ratios are based on acuity. You may float to other areas as needed to support department operations.

Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretaries. The department is equipped with Belmont infusion systems and bedside ultrasound.

Requirements

• Current South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience (first-time travelers with ED experience are welcome)
• Epic charting experience
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS (AHA)
• Preferred certifications: CPI and TNCC

Facility Details

Scrub color is royal blue. The facility allows one shift call-off per two weeks. This is a 91-day assignment beginning October 20, 2026, with a weekly pay rate of $1,897.
