ED - Emergency Room

Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

• 3x12 night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Minimum of 8 weekend shifts per contract required, with holidays as needed
• Float to other campuses required as needed
• Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers welcome
• Patient ratio of 1:5
• Epic EMR experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS
• Must pass compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed)
• Work in a General Emergency Department serving combined adult and pediatric patients in a non-trauma setting
• Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Required skills include blood product administration, central line care and management, phlebotomy, and starting and maintaining IVs
• Continuous IV sedation, IV vasopressors, and procedural sedation administration and monitoring required
• Experience with CPAP/BiPAP management, interpretation of arterial blood gases, and care of ventilated patients required
• Triage experience required
• Dysrhythmia interpretation and EKG experience required
• Community hospital experience preferred
