Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Tuesday start dates required
• Work on a 20-bed Medical Surgical unit
• Patient ratio of 6:1
• Day and night shifts available with RN and PCT staff
• May float to other Medical Surgical Telemetry level of care departments
• No on-call requirement
• Work with equipment including Mobilab and Baxter pumps
• Document using Meditech EMR system
• Perform peripheral IV insertion and NG tube management
• Manage patients on telemetry monitors, perform dressing changes, and central line management
• Minimum 6 months of experience caring for medical surgical patients required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Charge nurse experience preferred
• Advanced Med Surg certification (MSRN) preferred
• Collaborative and team-oriented personality required
• Supportive clinical operations team with 24/7 rapid response nurse coverage available on the floor
